Lincoln was found wandering in a canyon at the base of the Angeles National Forest. He was emaciated with raw paw pads, ears full of gunk, and toenails longer than velociraptor claws. We learned that he had been spotted in the forest, fending for himself, for months dating back to the summer. Lincoln received a complete veterinary workup and, after a long road to recovery and many tests, Lincoln has finally gained weight and does not appear to have suffered any serious repercussions from his starvation. We look forward to seeing this beautiful boy continue to improve.
